No surprises there! Having missed the IAS appeal deadline, you saved me a lot of time producing an appeal that would also have most likely been rejected.
The DCBL letters can be safely ignored. A debt collector has zero power to actually do anything except to try and intimidate the low-hanging fruit on the gullible tree into paying out of ignorance and fear. Those letters mean nothing and they cannot affect your credit or anything else. Use them as kindling or to line the bottom of a cat litter tray.
Come back if/when you receive an actual Letter of Claim (LoC). If they are using DCBL for their debt collection, they are likely to use DCB Legal to issue the claim. Easily beaten. Just read some of the recent threads that have involved them.
