It’s only POPLA. It’s not an independent court of law. POPLa assessors are fickle and poorly trained. Don’t expect thee, to ise the logic you assume.
In other words, if the appeal is unsuccessful, that decision is not binding on you and you don’t simply pay it. You just move on to the next phase.
