Correct. No response needed. Just note any dates and deadlines.

Nothing else to do. I will eat my hat if DCB Legal do not discontinue before the date the trial fee has to be paid. For now, we just wait.
Was there nothing else with the letter, such a date or instruction that any documents relied on (Witness Statement) must be submitted no later than two weeks before the hearing date?

No afraid this was the only letter I've received. Though mail sometimes doesn't get here for a while, and then a bunch of them arrive all together. Ok I'll wait for now

As you said before, they discontinued before having to pay the trial fee. Would you like to see any details from the Letter of Discontinuance?

So, I'm not having "hat" for my dinner tonight. That's a win for you because you followed the advice and did not become low-hanging fruit on the gullible tree.
Yes, please. Show us the N279 Notice of Discontinuance. So, there you have it... approx 14 months from PCN to winning against these shysters.

Totally. Their strategy is to drag it on until the last day so poor folk just pay and be done with it. 14 months is a long time, and they have automated the process to the max. A shame they can waste the courts' time too. The letter: ![]() It came in an email by: James Hollinshead Case Manager DCB Legal Ltd Thank you very much for all the help @b789 |
